Skerries are hosting a visit from a Yorkshire Tennis Club on Saturday and Sunday 6/7th of March. Plenty of players required as individuals will be mixed around. The plan is to have play from 12.00 to 15.00 on Sat and to eat out on Saturday evening, probably Pier house early bird and then move forward to 'pubs' etc.!!!!! Then an American Competition on Sunday (but that depends on whether Skerries teams progress to quarter finals that week-end and require courts) this will be clarified nearer to the weekend. Please let me know if you are interested in participating. Hopefully we can provide a good number of Skerries players on one or both days. This coming week end sees the end of the mens 2nd team run in the Winter League (class 4). However the 1st team have a chance to progress out of their group should they secure a 2-1 win over Fitzwilliam (class 3). Best of luck lads. I’ve decided to enter three mens teams in the Summer League and hopefully incorporate some of our “intermediate” age group. If you have not already done so please let me know if you are interested playing on a team. The matches take place on Saturday afternoons and commence on May 7th over appx 5 weekends.
